The very beginning of the band can be dated to the years around 1989 - 1990. At that time two new Budweiser bands were formed. Crossing Over and Cultural Disaster.
Both bands were one of the first HC bands in the southern Bohemia ever and it was obvious that they take HC serious.
Music alá Cro Mags was an adornment of many parties and social events. Around the year 1992 another significant band in the history of Overloaded was formed, the southern Bohemian Satisfucktion, presenting a brisk trash metal like Exodus and Sodom. This year the members of the current Overloaded assembly met for the first time. Asa from Satisfucktion (vocals), Hippo from Crossing Over (guitar) and Machek.org from Cultural Disaster (bass) and together with them former skateboarding star Octavian Marcipani (guitar). It was a memorial event and a big and memorable meeting. At that time they famously agreed to form a band. Well, no one can really remember when and where this meeting took place. However, we had a real good time and those who were there can confirm that it is perhaps better not to remember. Unfortunately, the implementation of this agreement was actually 20 years later.
Cultural Disaster stopped performing in 1994 and about a year later, a new legendary HC band Better Way was formed. Hippo, who moved from Crossing over in 1995, because they had a concert activity break, was the guitarist for several years.
At that time Machek.org began to prepare more and more projects. Of them remained active only punk revival project P.B.J.P and especially Stand Up Speak UP playing alternative satanic jazz Hardcore. Susu is still active and successful.
As Asa left the vocals he started to take care of Satisfucktion´s production together with Hippo who was responsible for the flawless sound. Also they both were engaged in agency activities. Both of them together with Satisfucktion got into the big world of the production of world´s famous bands. The list is very long, but great tours or concerts such as with Acurracy, Waltari, Exploited, Sick of it All, Snapcase and later also Faith No More and KISS have to be mentioned.
Present:In early 2012, the boys from Crossing Over band agreed to get back together again.
Unfortunately it turned out that not everyone really wanted to play again and gradually the band began to fall apart. However, Hippo remembered the ancient arrangement. He has an amazing memory, no one else remembered it, and he reached out to all attendees of the 1992 and all were in favor. Then the next big and certainly worthy of remembering rendez vous took place and a new chapter of Crossing Over has begun. Actually there was only Hippo left from the original formation, so we found a young and wild drummer Kačer, and called the band Overloaded.
